The KEK Working Conference is a traditional gathering of experts in basic and clinical research on the cardiovascular system, which has been held regularly since 1972. The conference has long been valued for its open atmosphere, opportunities for substantive discussion, and the chance to share experiences across disciplines. We believe that this year’s edition will offer the same friendly and stimulating environment—this time in Lednice, whose unique setting and autumnal atmosphere will surely provide a pleasant backdrop for the conference.
The theme of this year’s meeting is “Remodeling of the Cardiovascular System.” As is customary, the scientific program will consist of submitted abstracts. We look forward to seeing both regular attendees and new faces. We’d be delighted to welcome not only colleagues engaged in cardiovascular research, but also experts from related fields—ranging from biomedical engineering to imaging methods and molecular biology. We believe that the three days spent in Lednice will bring interesting topics, inspiring discussions, and encounters that will be a joy to remember.
