POSTPONED TO MAY 2021 - Convention for the guidelines of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis, thrombosis and thromboembolism
The Congress will take place on a day with three themes: venous thrombosis, atherosclerosis and arterial thrombosis.
The new guidelines for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis, thrombosis and thromboembolism, pathologies that, unfortunately, still represent the first cause of death in the world.
In August 2019, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) published in the European Heart Journal (the world's first cardiology journal for impact) new guidelines to better diagnose, treat and follow up atherosclerosis and thrombosis patients.
In this Congress, we aim to inform doctors and nurses about these advances.
In addition, each session will feature an interesting update on the pathophysiology of diseases, which may be of particular interest to basic researchers who, every day, study these molecular and cellular processes.
Our Congress, therefore, following the canons of translational research, aims to deal with the issues of atherosclerosis and venous and arterial thrombosis from A to Z, starting from basic pathophysiological research to the diagnosis, therapy and surveillance of patients. We are convinced that new transversal synergies and collaborations may arise after our Event.
