Vevo Integrated Rail System_ The integrated rail system allows for quick set-up, alignment and adjustment of the RMV probe, anesthetized mouse and, if required, the injection system (for image-guided injection applications). The heated table allows the researcher to secure the mouse quickly and ensure optimal comfort for the duration of the imaging session.
Fixed Rail Mount_ for securing the RMV Scanhead, Mouse table and Needle Injection System to ensure a stable platform for imaging.
The RMV (Real-time micro-visualization)
scanhead is the heart of the Vevo 770
imaging system. The scanhead transmits and receives high-resolution
real-time ultrasound signals - at resolutions down to 30 microns.
Available in multiple frequencies, each of the 8 application-specific
models is optimized for maximizing image resolution in specific
applications. Whether hand-held, mounted on the Integrated Rail
System or mounted on the Extendable Arm, the RMV scanhead provides
real-time non-invasive imaging results.

Real-time Imaging_ At 60 frames
per second+, the RMV provides the researcher with real-time
visualization and data capture of anatomical and physiological
features.
Encapsulated Transducer_ At the contact point between the mouse epidermis and the RMV, the transducer is buffered by a liquid-filled membrane and microfibre. This encapsulation ensures minimal disturbance to the skin of the animal during an imaging session.
Flexible Functionality_ A variety
of 8 RMV scanhead units at various high-frequency scanning levels
are available to best capture data at different depths of penetration
and with different attributes, for specific research needs and
application areas.
Wide Field of View_ The RMV scanhead
has a field of view of 20mm providing a wide image area.
