EKV™ Software is used for cardiac research to capture the ~500-650 bpm heart rate in a mouse
EKV™ (ECG-Gated Kilohertz Visualization) software is a useful tool on the Vevo® 770 for cardiac research to capture the ~500-650 bpm heart rate in a mouse. EKV offers the highest temporal resolution available in small animal imaging today. Typical B-Mode imaging on the Vevo 770 system can achieve up to 400 fps and EKV imaging and image reconstruction can provide 1000 fps. With high temporal resolution, cardiac wall motions abnormalities can be assessed in the most difficult animal models.
