With the introduction of the RMV™ (real-time micro visualization) scanhead, the Vevo 770 can provide real time imaging. The scanhead can be mounted or used as a handheld probe, which allows labs that are interested in rapid hand-held screening procedures to increase the speed of the system for screening procedures.

The Vevo 770 is especially useful for rapid screening procedures such as:
  • >  Confirmation of small animal pregnancy,
  • >  Fetal monitoring of lethal mutations,
  • >  Mutant screening,
  • >  Somite identification to determine time of pregnancy.

Features and Benefits of the Vevo 770 High-Resolution Imaging System for Rapid Screening Techniques:
  • >  Wide Field of View: The RMV scanhead provides a 20mm field of view, a sufficiently wide viewing perspective for viewing multiple embryos in rapid screening applications such as determination of age of pregnancy and confirmation of pregnancy tests.

  • >  RMV Scanhead Can Be Hand-Held for Ease of Use: For rapid screening applications where throughput is important, the ability to hand-hold the RMV increases the speed and facilitates rapid screening throughput.

  • >  Real-Time Imaging for Real-Time Results: The RMV's frame rate of 60 frames/second+ is the only high-resolution imaging scanhead that provides real-time data and images down to 30 microns.
